FAS IN SHAMBLES, TIME FOR FANS TO RETAKE FOOTBALL ADMIN FROM THE ELITES!

We know that our country's FIFA soccer ranking has been declining ever since the PAP gov installed a PAP minister to lead our soccer governing body FAS. Despite having history as our lesson, we continue to be nonchalant about it. Today, FAS is in shambles. Our local soccer is unattractive. It is nowhere near our previous high when we were a part of Malaysia Cup.

FAS spends a meagre $70k on community football but pay its key officials a staggering $1.6 million in salaries. Just how the hell did it happen?

The FAS council and committee members should be held responsible over the decline of Singapore soccer today. No one cared for its development despite records showing its decline. Everyone happily collecting hefty pay-check months after months. I don't even wanna talk about Zainudin Nordin. He's a wash out. I'm holding all the council and committee members responsible for the state that we are in today.

THE INDEPENDENT ALLEGES TBFC CHAIRMAN BILL NG DONATED $100,000 TO PAP BISHAN-TOA PAYOH BRANCH

Amidst the saga of Tiong Bahru FC Chairman Bill Ng's $500,000 donation to the Football Association of Singapore (FAS), local alternative news website The Independent Singapore alleged in a 28 April 2017 article that Mr Bill Ng made a $100,000 donation to the PAP's Community Foundation Bishan-Toa Payoh branch in 2014 at the behest of Mr Zainudin Nordin, then a PAP MP for the Bishan-Toa Payoh GRC.

$500K FAS DONATION: CLAIMS AND COUNTER CLAIMS, BUT MAN IN THE MIDDLE KEEPS QUIET

It is unclear at this point if any laws have been broken over the donation, but when contacted, a spokesman for national sports agency Sport Singapore said: “We have requested FAS to provide full details on the donations and we are looking into the matter” – has any governance or other issues been breached with reference to the guidelines for IPC institutions?

As to “The one man in the middle of the debate who has not been heard from so far is Mr Zainudin. When The Straits Times approached the former Bishan-Toa Payoh GRC MP, he said he is unaware of the latest developments and will not comment for now.

He said: “I already said I won’t be commenting. I’m not running in the election.”

HOW DID PAP MP ZAINUDIN NORDIN ESCAPE SERVING NATIONAL SERVICE?

Take a look at his education record. Straight after “A” Levels in 1982, he went straight to do Diploma and Master of Science consecutively. This was widely publicised last year but is worth sharing again to demonstrate what a vacuous person Zainudin Nordin is, given that as Chairman of the FAS, he has produced little, if not no, results.
