MAN CHARGED FOR INVOLVEMENT IN MULTINATIONAL ONLINE VICE RING

Suspected operators of vice website Laksaboy were arrested and two vice syndicates crippled in a series of raids conducted by the police on Thursday. Saw Yan Long, 29, was charged for an offence under the Women's Charter for living on part of the earnings of a 39-year-old Thai national between June 29 and July 19. Saw is suspected of involvement in a multinational online vice ring.

THREE FOREIGN WOMEN ARRESTED FOR VICE ACTIVITIES IN HDB FLAT

Police have arrested three foreign women aged between 37 and 42 for providing sexual services. It was understood that all three women are from China, and they were arrested in a raid conducted by the Police at at Jurong West Street 65 on Wednesday.

All three were on valid social visit passes, but had abused their passes by committing vice related offences. It was also believed that the vice activities were carried out at the Jurong West flat itself. The women had advertised their sexual services on various online websites, and condoms and lubricants were seized as case exhibits. One woman had just arrived in Singapore, and had not unpacked her luggage. Two large packs of condoms were found in her luggage.

CID BUSTED RUSSIAN VICE RING OFFERING "HIGH CLASS" ESCORT & SEXUAL SERVICES

Police busted a Russian vice ring yesterday and arrested 4 women suspected of carrying out related activities. The raids were conducted on Raffles Boulevard, Tanjong Katong and Cairnhill Rd.

3 of the women who were arrested are from Russia while one is from Uzbekistan. They are on valid work passes and probably made use of their stay here to carry out vice activities.

The police uncovered advertisements of sexual services on more than 13 online platforms. Customers can even hire their "high class" escort service at $500 an hour or book the girls via their mobile phones or email addresses.

One of the suspects will be charged this weekend under the Women's Charter for living on money earned through prostitution. The others are still undergoing investigations.

So much for "high class".

13 FOREIGNERS ARRESTED FOR VICE ACTIVITIES @ KAKI BUKIT FORESTED AREA

13 foreigners, 10 men and 3 women, have been arrested yesterday for alleged vice activities in a forested area in Kaki Bukit. The Central Narcotics Bureau and the Singapore Police Force Bedok Division launched the joint operation at 7PM yesterday after receiving reports on criminal activities in the forest.

BRAVE PLAINCLOTHES POLICEMAN USED REVOLVER TO FEND OFF 100 RIOTERS AT GEYLANG BACK ALLEY

During an anti-vice raid in Geylang, a group of 5 plainclothes police officers were surrounded by a 100 strong crowd after they arrested an 18 year old man who was promoting an illegal gambling game of "si gor luck" in the backlane between Lorong 14 and 16 Geylang. Despite warnings for the 100 strong crowd to disperse, the gathered people were becoming agitated and shouted at the policemen to release the arrested teen. Feeling threatened, a police sergeant whipped out his revolver and pointed the gun laser at the crowd. This action made the crowd retreat but one man Ho Hock Hui stepped forward and scolded vulgarities at the policeman, challenging the sergeant to shoot him if he dared to.

ILLEGAL VICE ACTIVITIES RAMPANT AT PARKLANE SHOPPING MALL, CLEAN BUSINESSES BADLY AFFECTED

I owned a shop in Parklane Shopping Centre in town doing retail business. Recently there are more and more vice establishments are being set up in this mall, attracting all the wrong crowd affecting real proper businesses like mine. In the past, most of these vice establishments are on the upper floors but since the start of this year, 2 new vice establishments had been set up on the 2nd floor in high human traffic areas.

Minister for Social and Family Development, Tan Chuan Jin has earlier said that the online gambling exemption for Singapore Pools and Singapore Turf Club does not expand what has been offered by the two local gambling operators. Then why not extend that same logic to vice? Online sex websites for licensed operators should also be allowed to be operated since the operators do not offer new services. The kind of stupid logic that the government can come up with.
