Our reader informed us about an accident at Yishun Avenue 8 yesterday evening. He was driving along the area when he saw a lorry flipped on its side. He said the lorry driver looked like he wanted to turn into a filter lane when he lost control, hit a lamp post and caused the vehicle to flip. Be alert on the roads but be more alert in Yishun!

Since I did not have any infant seat, I informed them with apologies that she had to cancel the booking as I was not allowed to ferry the baby. It was against Singapore Traffic Regulations. The woman passenger became agitated and argued that other drivers were willing to fetch her child without a child seat and harsh words were exchanged. It was at this point that the woman's husband came forward and attacked my vehicle and stop my car from driving away. He scratched my car and broke my windscreen wiper. He shouted at me that he would fucking kill me.

As a road user, I find cyclists like this very selfish. Most cyclists and e-bikers have this sense of entitlement on the right to user the road. ERRANT MOTORIST ABUSES PICK UP POINT AS HIS PERSONAL PARKING LOT

This car has been parked at my carpark for 2 consecutive days in the Pickup/Alighting area at Blk 148A Mei Ling Street. At approximately 11am on 24/9/2015, I already heard a lady who was parked next to my car call HDB to send an enforcement officer. When I returned that evening, the car was still there without a parking ticket and another man was standing next to the car calling HDB to make a complaint.

BEWARE! CAR STOLEN FROM CAR WASH SHOP NEAR JOHOR KSL MALL!

On 5th July 2015, my brother car got stolen in JB. He is driving a white Honda Civic F.D., car plate no. SGP3968X. We went to JB and park his car at this Perfect car wash beside Ahwee car accessories near KSL shopping mall for washing around 6PM. He went back to retrieve his car around 10PM and was informed that his car was retrieved by his "friends" at around 6.30PM, a Chinese guy age group around 30 - 40 was seen driving off the car.

NEA CAN FINE YOU UP TO $5,000 IF YOU KEEP YOUR CAR ENGINE ON WHILE STATIONARY

Over the past three years, the National Environment Agency (NEA) has taken action on more than 8,000 cases of errant drivers who leave the engines idling while their vehicles are stationary. Fines have been meted out and warning letters and advisories issued, the NEA said. In its latest three-hour enforcement blitz on Wednesday in Ang Mo Kio Street 53, warning letters were issued to another 14 drivers who had left the engines of stationary vehicles running. Pamphlets and anti-idling car decals were also distributed to 236 motorists.

COE PREMIUMS RISE ACROSS THE BOARD AGAIN

Certificates of entitlement (COEs) ended higher across the board at the latest tender Wednesday, driven by new model launches in recent weeks. COE for cars up to 1,600cc and 130bhp finished at $64,600, up from $62,890 two weeks ago. COE for cars above 1,600cc or 130bhp closed at $68,689, up from $65,001.
