Bugatti have not revealed the identity of the Singaporean buyer, who was presented with his new purchase at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance show in California by Bugatti’s president himself, but there is a very obvious clue ‘hidden’ in the grille. Apparently, the owner has requested to have his initials, PL, laser cut into the grille design, so given that information, you can probably figure out pretty easily who is this (not so) mysterious billionaire.

Singapore billionaire Peter Lim buys Spanish football club Valencia

Singapore property tycoon Peter Lim has been confirmed as the new owner of Spanish La Liga football club Valencia CF. According to Spanish media reports, the 22-man Valencia CF Foundation trustees voted in favour of selling their shares to the 60-year-old billionaire’s Hong Kong-based investment company Meriton Capital Limited during a meeting in Madrid on Saturday.

It must be a case of déjà vu for Singapore billionaire Peter Lim, who has failed yet again to purchase a top European club. According to Spanish newspaper Marca, the 60-year-old has failed to make it through the final round of bidders interested in buying debt-stricken Spanich club Valencia. Lim placed a bid for the La Liga side in December, promising to clear the club’s debts and enable the completion of the construction of their new stadium, as well as providing a transfer fund of €50 million (SGD$87m) to invest in new signings.
