Vandals have scrawled gang-related graffiti on the walls and pillars of Singapore's Bugis district over what appears to be a dispute with members from the number 18 gang. According to netizens who posted the photos of a pillar at Bugis+ (near retailer Pull & Bear) and another wall at Fu Lu Shou UOB, the words written in Mandarin read as a challenge to come out and settle the scores in a fight.

I am writing to warn the public about security lapses with UOB’s credit card protocols as well as their terrible customer service. SALARIES OF DBS, UOB & OCBC CEO ROSE BY S$1 MILLION DOLLARS EACH IN 2014

The chief executive officers of Singapore's three local banking groups saw their total remuneration rise by around S$1 million each last year as profits grew. According to DBS Group's latest annual report, CEO Piyush Gupta earned S$10.12 million last year, up from S$9.2 million in 2013. The higher pay comprised a base salary of S$1.2 million, S$3.79 million cash bonus, S$5.07 million in shares and S$55,545 in other non-cash payments.
