Like how a normal consumer would react, Mr Chew and his 2 colleagues, who felt as disgusted having the same order (definitely curry chicken was cooked and served from the same pot), approached the staffs at Asia Square Toast Box complaining about their shocking discovery. They offered to change their meal to another and ask them to top up the cost difference. Not only were they not apologetic towards such hygiene negligence, their service were very questionable too.

I saw your story on how a rat at their premises was ignored by Giant supermarket staff at Yishun. I have encountered bad hygiene conditions such as centipedes, flies, bee, other insects found at the premises and spoilt food items being sold at Giant located at Ang Mo Kio and have been informing NEA on this matter for the past two years.

FOOD REPUBLIC PATRON SAW CLEANER DROP DISHES AND REUSE THEM WITHOUT WASHING

I was at Vivocity having an early dinner yesterday and one of your staff was delivering clean plates to stalls when he spilled the plates all over the floor where people were trying to avoid stepping on them as he picks it up. He proceeds to stack them again and continues to deliver them to stalls. This is pretty gross and unhygienic and I'm not the only one who witnessed this since it was incredibly crowded at vivo and its food republic outlet yesterday. Doesn't this flout NEA food hygiene practices or something? It made me second guess the plates I was eating off the whole time after seeing that.
