WOMAN HAS ARM TRAPPED IN MIXER AT AMK PASTRY SHOP, SERIOUSLY INJURED

A woman found herself in a emergency situation when her arm was trapped in a mixer at a pastry shop in Ang Mo Kio. The incident happened at Joyus Pastries's Ang Mo Kio branch on Wednesday, and it was understood the woman was taken to hospital in a serious condition.

Reports indicated that it was her right arm that was trapped.

MAN TRAPPED IN CABLE DRUM ATOP A CRANE AT PSA TERMINAL DIED

A tragedy occurred at PSA Keppel Terminal on Wednesday morning when a 33 year old man died, trapped on a cable drum on top of a crane.

SCDF was alerted to the rescue incident at about 10:20 am, and they found the man trapped there. A cable drum is a round,cylindrical object used to carry wound up wires and cables.

DRIVER TRAPPED IN OVERTURNED CAR IN ACCIDENT AT FARRER ROAD

A man was injured after the car he was driving overturned in an accident along Farrer Road on Thursday afternoon.

The driver of the overturned car, who was reportedly in his 50s, was trapped in the car, and had to be freed by rescue officers, SCDF said. It was understood that the man's foot was stuck. The driver was conscious when he taken to the National University Hospital.

3 EMERGENCY RESPONSE STAFF HURT AS THEIR VEHICLE HIT PRIME MOVER

Three emergency staff from port operator PSA were injured when their emergency vehicle skidded on the wet road and hit a prime mover. They were responding to a call at Keppel Road when the accident happened.

A man in his 30s was trapped in the emergency response vehicle, and was extricated by the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF). He reportedly suffered serious injuries, and along with two other staff, were taken to hospital. The man was extricated using hydraulic tools, and hospital emergency workers were standing by to receive him when he was rushed to hospital.
