CONSIDER SETTING UP RUNAWAY VEHICLE RAMPS TO SAVE LIVES

The news published that it had came to a conclusion that the bus accident on Jan 21 resulting in a death of a cyclist was caused by brakes failure of the bus and I think LTA and Traffic police really have to look into ways to enhance safety of all motorists on the roads.

TP USING NORMAL CARS TO CATCH DRIVERS OF HEAVY VEHICLES

It seems like the Traffic Police are now taking a no-nonsense approach in the policing of heavy vehicles. They have announced that they are running a month long enforcement operations against errant drivers of heavy vehicles.

This comes at the back of two fatal accidents involving heavy vehicles this week, bringing the number of fatalities to three for June alone. Amongst measures adopted by the TP, it would seem like one of those is TP using normal unmarked cars as their enforcement vehicles.

THOMAS CHUA ACCUSED AGAIN FOR THREATENING TO KILL HIS EX-GF'S LOVER

Thomas Chua Poh Heng, who made insensitive comments about a traffic police and was later arrested for shoplifting, may have even threatened to kill his ex-girlfriend's separated husband. Around 2 and a half years ago, he was living with his then-girlfriend who was already separated from her husband. He got into arguments with him and repeatedly threatened him with emails that accused him of taking drugs or saying that he will hire someone to kill him. Chua had threatened the man for nearly a year. On top of that, Chua had multiple counts of reckless driving and speeding.
