BUS MOUNTED KERB OUTSIDE BEDOK INTERCHANGE, ONE WOMAN UNDER BUS

Saw an accident at Bedok Bus interchange today. The bus, which was returning back to the interchange, mounted the kerb and unfortunately, hit two pedestrians who were waiting at the traffic junction to cross the road. According to people who were there at the time of the accident, the victims were two women pedestrians. One woman appeared injured and was down beside the bus, while another woman was actually under the bus. The woman who was at the pavement beside the bus appeared hurt, and some say she might have injured both her legs. The woman under the bus was apparently still responsive when ambulance and SCDF came.

MASSIVE JAM AFTER TRAFFIC LIGHTS SPOIL DURING SUNDAY HEAVY RAIN IN ANG MO KIO

Yesterday (20 November 2016) during a thunderstorm, the traffic lights at the junction between Yio Chu Kang and Ang Mo Kio Ave 5 experienced a technical issue and caused a a massive grid lock. Cars and buses were headed in all directions. Chaos ensued and cars were caught in a virtual standstill. The technical glitch occured from between 12 to 1230pm and was finally fixed at 1.15pm. Vehicles caught in the grid lock did not give way to one another and tailgated each other. Even when there were heavy vehicles like buses, cars did not give way.

$MRT SCORES AN A(SS) FOR “TRAFFIC LIGHTS” IDEA

SMRT will be throwing money at another ‘solution’ with the installation of “traffic lights” inside an MRT station. (even if they are outside, it still doesn’t make sense) link The reason to cow pei cow bu again is because the SMRT did not consult the public and stupid ideas will eventually translate into fare hikes for me.
