On Friday morning, 3 train breakdowns happened on SMRT's East-West line during the peak hour travel. In the past 24 hours, SMRT reported an hour long track fault between Aljunied and Eunos MRT and a traction power fault at Bugis MRT cause disruptions between Outram and Aljunied MRT. At 730am this morning, another track fault occured between Tanah Merah and Eunos and it caused delays of up to 20 minutes even though SMRT only reported an extra 10 minutes of waiting time.
