PM LEE STILL HOLDING OUT HOPE FOR TPP DEAL

Singapore would still sign the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) with the remaining 11 members, even with the withdrawal of the United States, said Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong in the BBC's HARDtalk programme, which was broadcast on Wednesday. He said however that he was "not sure" if such a deal would ever be reached.

In the wake of growing world disaffection with all things Global that benefit only the few at the top will the PAP stop to think about this in the Singapore context?.

TPP TRADE DEAL ALLOWS PAP GOVT TO FLEECE MORE MONEY OUT OF THE COMMON MAN?

Lee Hsien Loong is one of the strongest proponents of the Trans-Pacific Partnership ("TPP"). Do you know why? The TPP tips the balance in favour of large MNCs and pharmaceuticals and sharply curtails the rights of the individual. In other words, big businesses will benefit allowing the PAP government to work with them to extract rent from the common man in the street.

In a pointed comment against Presidential Candidate Hillary Clinton, he commented that the latter has said "a lot of things" that she would need to "un-speak" if she's elected to office.

SDP TELLS PM LEE TO HELP LOCAL WORKERS INSTEAD OF CHAMPIONING TPP TRADE PACT

The TPP, a secretive free trade initiative of President Barack Obama, is seen by many as a plan written by giant multinational corporations (MNCs) to further exploit labour and natural resources and fatten profit-margins. This has led to the great income inequality that is threatening financial and social instability around the world. If PM Lee is really for Singaporean workers and not throwing them under the bus by championing the interests of MNCs, he will not agree to the TPP, much less be a cheerleader for President Barack Obama's initiative.

HOW DOES THE TRANS PACIFIC PARTNERSHIP (TPP) RESTRICT MEDIA FREEDOM IN S'PORE

In addition to this enforcement of copyright could be extremely damaging to free speech because it makes open platforms for user generated content like mothership, all Singapore Stuff etc. economically untenable. This is extremely devasting as these websites could be hit with copyright blocks (Especially to shut out opposition) because of a single picture of Lee Hsien Loong.
