A netizen appeals for witnesses or footage of his accident along TPE towards Changi this morning. He claims a white car abruptly changed lanes and caused him to crash.

A netizen is appealing for witness to his grandfather's motorbike accident along TPE towards PIE after Jalan Kayu exit. His grandfather has serious head injuries and is currently in Khoo Teck Puat Hospital.

A Transcab taxi caught fire in the KPE tunnel towards TPE after ECP, leaving part of the tunnel closed. Thankfully, the SCDF managed to extinguish the fire and nobody was injured. Drivers are advised to avoid lane 4. Some were also told to abandon their motorbikes and exit the tunnel.

The contractor in charge of building the affected highway, Or Kim Peow Construction, was fined $250,000 2 years ago for failing to take safety precautions and causing a worker's death in an accident at Yio Chu Kang flyover. There is a massive accident at TPE near Punggol, where normally the jam is of the slow moving kind. Today, some vehicles are just stuck idling, not moving at all. This lead to many roads in Punggol and Sengkang having bottlenecks, with cars not even able to get on to the expressway. The accident, which occurred on the Tampines Expressway (TPE) in the direction of Changi Airport after the Lorong Halus exit, occurred at around 6.40am. It involved three cars and two motorcycles, said a police spokesman.

A man has been arrested on suspicions of drink driving & driving without a valid license. This happened yesterday (Nov 17) on the TPE towards the PIE. The truck he was driving veered on the wheels on the right side before the truck moved towards the lane on the left and hit the oncoming vehicle that recorded the footage.
