In order to help bus captains differentiate the various stopping points, the authority said it is looking into "increasing the prominence of the height limit signage and the visibility of the markings of the taxi lots". Bus captains are also constantly reminded by the bus operators to look out for the height limit signs, and have increased emphasis of these signs when training new bus captains.

Singapore’s third local operator Tower Transit will roll out its services on 29 May. The bus contracting model, known as the Bulim Package was awarded to Tower Transit, a UK based company. The package states that 26 existing bus services that were formerly ran by SBS and SMRT will be run by Tower Transit. The implementation will take place in 3 phases. Tower Transit will operate from three bus interchanges – Bukit Batok, Clementi and Jurong East; and terminate at four bus interchanges – Bedok, Marina Centre, Shenton Way, and Toa Payoh.
