INDIAN FT PARENT: MY 6 YEAR OLD TODDLER MUST ATTEND ONLY THE TOP PUBLIC SCHOOL IN SG

I came across this FB post by this Indian woman who said that her husband will be posted to Singapore for work and she wants to enrol her 6 year old toddler in one of Singapore's top public school run by the government. If she thinks that she is so high class and of a higher caste that she cannot send her toddler to a normal school then she can just send him to a international school. Are ordinary primary schools so beneath her precious son that he cannot study there? All these Indian FTs just keep having this self-entitled issues. What makes her think her son deserves to be in a top school when our system is a based on meritocracy and not on caste?

PEOPLE WHO LET THEIR KIDS PEE AND CRAP IN OPEN PUBLIC HAVE NO SHAME!

Just a few days ago, a woman was caught letting her child pee on the floor of ION food court. Today a Stomper caught another woman letting a toddler take a dump on the public walkway near Blk 60A at 59 Circuit Road. According to Stomper Amandeep, this is not the first time that he has seen people letting their kids treat Singapore's public spaces as their own personal toilets. Previously, he has seen many kids with no shame pee on the wall at the void deck despite people passing by looking at them. Still, Amandeep hopes that the beautiful green environment in Singapore can be preserved.

NEIGHBOUR COMPLAIN TO HDB THAT MY TODDLERS ARE NOISY, NOW THEY CAN’T EVEN PLAY

I can't believe that the lady living on top of my unit (I am living on the first floor) can actually complain to my helper and now write in to HDB to lodge a complain that my children (4YO, 2YO and twins of 1YO) are noisy and run around in the corridor (my helper would bring them out for a walk for 15-30mins). This block is situated right in front of a cross junction with constructions happening around. What is the level of noise of my children compared to those?

FOREIGN WORKER WHO SAVED TODDLER’S LIFE IDENTIFIED AS SHANMUGANATHAN FROM CHENNAI

The foreign worker whose heroic act saved a three-year-old girl's life has been identified as Shanmuganathan. Reader Jona Pang told The Straits Times that she managed to chat and take pictures with the worker, whom she said "deserves more recognition for what he did for saving a life". Shanmuganathan, who is from Chennai, carried on with his work after the act and smiled shyly when Ms Pang thanked him.
