Irresponsible Parents Allow 6-Year-Old To Terrorise Hougang Neighbours

A contributor shared that his 13-year-old son was attacked by a 6-year-old boy while walking along the void deck of Blk 25 Hougang Ave 3. The 6-year-old boy wanted the older boy to play together, but the older boy refused as he was on the way to fetch his siblings from school. The 6-year-old boy then took a stone and threw it towards the contributor's son. According to pictures provided by the contributor, his son suffered a gash on his left cheek which needed at least five stitches. The parents were unapologetic.

Jewel Mirror Accident: Family Of Dead Toddler Hires Lawyer

In the incident, which occurred just three hours before the girl and her family were due to fly back to China on Friday at about 3pm, a few children had knocked down the mirror while playing in the Urban Revivo store. The mirror reportedly then fell on the toddler, who was then standing in front of it. CCTV footage caught the incident, although no videos had been released on the incident. The girl was unconscious when she was taken to Changi General Hospital, where she was subsequently pronounced dead.

According to our reader, the Singapore Civil Defence Force used hydraulic equipment to rescue the boy, who was excited upon seeing the SCDF in action.

BEES ATTACKED SIMEI BLOCKS, TWO STUNG INCLUDING A TODDLER

Two HDB blocks in Simei Street 1 came under the attack of hundreds of bees on Monday evening, resulting in two residents, including a toddler, to be stung. An eyewitness claims that she found bees in her kitchen when she was cooking dinner, and her daughter also informed her that bees can be found in their living room in their third storey flat. Dead bees were found between the linkway of blocks 133 and 134, which overlooked Simei Park. Reports also indicated that dead bees can also be found in some homes. The toddler who was stung was living on a ninth floor unit, and had been taken to hospital. The other person who was stung, a woman, was in a house whose unit had about 100 bees that had flown in.

Goh Hao Zheng Jayden died from severe head injuries while he was being rushed to hospital in the 8.30pm incident in Jalan Lebuh Cemerlang. He was said to be sitting in the back seat of the car with his father driving and mother in the front passenger seat. "When making the U-turn, the back door of the car opened and this led to the victim falling out of the car. At the same time, another vehicle which was tailing behind could not avoid the victim in time and ran over him when he fell in the middle of the road. The victim sustained serious head injuries and was pronounced dead en route to the Sultan Ismail Hospital."

MOTHER USED TODDLER SON TO “CHOPE” PARKING SPACE DURING PEAK HOUR

Media reported that a woman made her toddler son sit on a vacant parking slot to chope the space for her car. This happened at Jalan Kuchai Lama (Kuala Lumpur) during the peak hour where parking lots were scarce. The driver instructed her son to sit on the ground to save the lot while she took 20 minutes to shift her car from another place further away. When passersby checked on the kid thinking he was lost or in distress, he revealed to them he was ordered to sit there and chope the lot for his mother.

KIND BUS CAPTAIN URGE COMMUTERS TO GIVE UP SEAT TO LADY WITH TODDLER

This morning at about 10.15, I took a SMRT bus 859B (Licence plate no SMB 3149 X)at the bus stop opposite Blk 491 Admiralty Link. The driver, a Malay man in his twenties ( I couldn’t get his name)seemed reluctant to continue and kept looking towards the back of the bus. After about a minute of waiting, he walks towards the back and tells a female passenger who is standing to have a seat. The passenger is carrying a toddler. Despite her declining, he politely tries to persuade her to sit down, telling her that it may be uncomfortable and dangerous to stand. This prompts another passenger to persuade others to give up their seats. Someone gives up his seat and the passenger sits down.
