CHC leaders accused of doctoring paperwork to back investments

The leaders of City Harvest Church (CHC) had planned to falsify paperwork and deceive auditors that the church had assessed Xtron’s bonds to be a good investment, charged the prosecution as the high-profile trial resumed yesterday. NTU introduces changes to grading system

Starting from Academic Year 2014, freshmen can automatically exclude up to six courses for Grade Point Average (GPA) computation, if they do not attain a pass for their first attempt in their first year. They will retake the exams for those exempted courses and the grade for the second attempt will then be used to compute the student’s GPA. These changes was made to ease the freshmen’s transition into university.

85% SATISFIED WITH FAMILY LIFE: SURVEY

More than eight in 10 parents with teenage children or younger were satisfied with their relationship with their children as well as with their family life, showed the first survey on the state of family life conducted by the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) last year. It found that 85 per cent of respondents were generally satisfied with their family life, while 86 per cent were satisfied with their relationship with their children.
