HOW DID INDIANS END UP DOMINATING SG’S IT SECTOR?

Even the very few brave young Singaporeans who dare venture into the IT sector find themselves bullied by the Indian foreign legions who are the majority. Many have told me that senior Indian IT workers will never train a fresh Singaporean IT worker. They will squeeze that Singaporean out. They will make sure that the Singaporean flops so badly in their job that HR will think that all the Singaporean IT workers suck. So Singaporeans will never get to be trained in the IT field, leaving the Indians to continue to dominate that sector. It is the same as any animal species trying to eliminate competition from another species in the same forest.

THE LAW IS MEANINGLESS IF IT'S NOT CONSISTENT IN ITS APPLICATION

Recently, one of my colleague from Philippines on S-Pass managed to get another higher salaried job in Singapore. I was stunned as I read so many reports of how MOM is restricting and not renewing work permits and asking Pinoys to leave Singapore. This Pinoy colleague is not a talent. Her job can easily be substituted by another Singaporean and ironically, her next job is a technical field in Singhealth which is more or less a government job.

FREE PR GIVEN OUT TO FOREIGN STUDENTS

Moving forward today in 2014, my understanding is that they had stop giving out PR to polytechnic students but I simply cannot confirm they stop doing so for university students. From my deduction, the PR title is given out in order for them to clear their bonds without hassle on the grants they took from taxpayers' money, allows employers hire them cheap without the need for any long term employment passes thus depriving Singaporeans of their PMET jobs and for Singapore to appear business-friendly.

16 YEAR OLD S'POREAN: WE SHOULD BE APPRECIATIVE OF THE PAP AND WHAT THEY ARE DOING

For me, I see things fairly and not like some Singaporeans who have a dogmatic view about our government – either positively or negatively. Though I may be a youthful 16-year-old Singaporean, however I believe that what need to be said have to be said. I hope that all of you will take my post into consideration not take it as a platform for you to try and correct me or go against me.

PAP BASHERS SHOULD FOCUS ON UNSATISFIED ACTIONS, NOT INDIVIDUALS OR SUPPORTERS

Of course, their demands are accompanied by their ideal life of having cheap cars, no COEs, no jams, no ERPs (just look at the irony staring), low taxes (our tax structure is one of the lowest in the world and if they can't afford expensive houses and cars they probably don't have to pay much taxes either) and not train breakdowns. Seriously I'm getting sick of the train breakdown complaints that involve apparently the taxes they paid (probably low) or the rising transport costs (about a few cents per trip) that ultimately boils down to the incompetency of PAP according to them.

LIFE AS A CHANGI AIRPORT SCREENING OFFICER WITH CERTIS CISCO AVIATION SECURITY

I want to share with you and your readers life as a Screening Officer with Certis Cisco Aviation Security Pte Ltd in Changi Airport Terminal 3. For a reputable company which proudly boasts about its good work ethics, its 3M Model (Man, Method, Machine) and good working conditions for its employees. It is quite hypocritical. A standard over view for a full time Screening Officer:

ARE YOU SURE SG’S UNEMPLOYMENT RATE IS SO LOW?

We do have a lot of PMETs who have lost their jobs and have no choice but to take up taxi, property and insurance licenses. They want their old job but are doing temp now. And I’m sure, for taking up such jobs even though it is out of necessity, the government will still consider them to be “employed”. The good economy is derived from overtaxing Singaporeans and casinos. Citizens have not really benefited. But to continue to hoodwink the public into believing that a good economy means many good jobs, they are “fixing the stats” through various means. With so many unemployed and underemployed people around me, how can I believe the government’s unemployment figure?

SINGTEL SOLD MY DAD A USED AND "LOCKED" IPHONE AS NEW

We called SingTel in hope that they would mail us our proof of purchase receipt. Their reply was 'As this is a new problem and case, thus you will have to check with the Apple service counter to solve the problem". They also said that if we wanted the proof of purchase, they will have it mail to us and it takes around three to five days. We asked for them to email the receipt to us as my dad needs the phone for work.

HOW TO SAVE OUR MIDDLE AGED PMETS IN THE IT INDUSTRY

One of my 37 year old IT executive in NCS National Computer Singapore keeps complaining to me that his salary is depressed by his Pinoy counterparts and during lunch, he also has no common topic with Pinoys. He might as well put NCP National Computer Philippines as he is the minority Singaporean working there which is very shameful as NCS was first started off by the PAP Government. Recently, many government offices and stats board are on the major hiring trend to hire more security IT executives and systems analysts in the wake of online cyberhackers and The Messiah.

POLICE GOT EASY CREDIT FOR KIDNAPPERS ARRESTED

The police got easy credit and this case allowed them to redeem themselves after the recent Little India langgar fiasco. They needed this publicity badly. They are desperate for it. Now they feel vindicated! It’s because kidnappers are amateurs and according to a local, popular blogger who wishes to remain anonymous this is how the kidnappers should have done it.
