RADICAL RELIGIOUS TEACHER’S PUBLICATIONS BANNED FOR EXTREMISM

Rasul Dahri, a radical Singaporean preacher, has had 9 of his publications banned under the Undesirable Publications Act, says the Singapore Ministry of Communications and Information (MCI) today. According MCI, the publications contain extremist religious views, which include remarks denigrating other religious groups and calls for Muslims to overthrow the secular state and establish an Islamic state.

UNDENIABLE PROOF EMERGES OF IZZAH AL ANSARI SUPPORTING ISIS, TRIED TO LEAD YOUNG DAUGHTER ASTRAY

Yesterday Singapore's first radicalised female Syaikhah Izzah Zahrah Al Ansari (22 yr old) was detained for support Islamic State terror group but I see some citizens refuse to believe in her crime. They say Singaporeans should not blindly trust the government's words and asked to see proof of Izzah supporting ISIS. A simple internet search found pictures of Syaikhah Izzah Zahrah Al Ansari dressed in a niqab together with her so young daughter holding up their index fingers (tawhid; oneness of Allah) which has been misused by ISIS as their symbol of victory over the infidels. How could she do this and get her young daughter involved in her mistaken violent beliefs?

OFFENSIVE GRAFFITI ON MRT HOARDING UNDER POLICE INVESTIGATIONS

Whoever wrote the words "terrorist" on the murals of the unfinished MRT Station at Marine Parade over the picture of a woman in Hijab certainly needs to have his head examined. Such blatant act of anti-Muslim sentiment has no place in a multi racial and multi-religious Singapore. The police are already investigating this vile act of vandalism. LTA indicated that the contractor for the MRT station made a police report on Friday afternoon, soon after this was spotted. It is believed that the word was scrawled on a piece of paper with an adhesive back and stuck on the hijab area.

SINGAPOREAN MAN IN PHILIPPINES SINCE 1990S IMPLICATED IN TERROR ACTIVITIES

The Ministry of Home Affairs has reacted to the Philippine's Military statement today that stated Singaporeans are also involved in the IS led insurgency in the Philippines. MHA confirmed on Friday that a Singaporean man who has been in south Philippines since the 1990s has been implicated in terrorism activities there, The man was named as Muhamad Ali s/o Abdul Rahiman @ Muawiya. However, MHA indicated that there is no confirmed reports that this man is involved in the ongoing armed insurgency in Marawi on Mindanao island. MHA also reiterated that they will work with the Philippines authorities closely to identify any Singaporean who may be involved in terrorism-related activities in the Philippines. the MHA takes a serious view of anyone who supports, promotes, undertakes or makes preparations to undertake armed violence regardless of where the violence takes place, the statement continues.

GRASSROOTS LEADERS TO BE EQUIPPED TO DEAL WITH PSYCHOLOGICAL THREATS

Now we have moved on to formal psychological training to combat terrorism! Getting more and more sophisticated. PM Lee said that grassroots leaders will take the lead and receive formal training from mental health professionals to help residents respond and deal with the psychological effects of a terror attack. Last time, when you of any kind of training to help save lives, it was all about the physical aspect. Now, we have gone one notch higher, being trained in the mental aspect as well. Training and equipping oneself against any kinds of terrorist attack is always good.
