TWO TEENS ARRESTED FOR HOUSEBREAKING IN A LANDED PROPERTY

The owner of the house, a 44 year old female victim, had informed the police on Friday afternoon that her sliding door was ajar, and her vehicle, parked within the compound, had been ransacked. Police have announced that they have arrested two teens, aged 17 and 18, for impersonating police officers. The two men were alleged to have claimed they are police officers and had also separately engaged in aggressive tactics to seek donations in public. So daring these two young men. How did they think they can get away with this? Impersonating a police officer and engaging in aggressive donations tactic? Surely someone would have reported them. Worse still if these two young men were put in this situation by a company that required them to solicit the donations.

Police Statement on Death of 14-Year-Old Male Student Under Investigation for Outrage of Modesty. In this case, a Police report was lodged about a molestation. Based on CCTV evidence, Police officers went to conduct enquiries at a school. To keep investigations discreet, the officers went in plainclothes and in unmarked cars. While at Ang Mo Kio Division, he was interviewed by one Investigation Officer at his workstation in an open plan office with other workstations. He was fully cooperative during the interview. He was then released on bail and went back with his mother.

Mr Chong Ee Jay remembered a case last year where a Secondary 4 girl sent nude and sexy photos of herself to her boyfriend. At first she was reluctant but her boyfriend said it was only for his own pleasure. But the boyfriend showed the photos to his friends, and the girl was called a "slut". Mr Chong is the manager of Touch Cyber Wellness, a voluntary welfare group that teaches Internet safety, He shared that the sexting trend which started in the United States and Britain in 2010 is starting to take off here in Singapore.

FOCUS ON THE FAMILY: TELL TEENS TO SAY NO TO UNDERAGED SEX

The increase in underage sex is not an issue of sexual liberalisation or promiscuity. The fall in teen births is not an issue of contraception or health education. The underlying issue here is how our teens see and value themselves. Explicitly or implicitly telling our youth that "they are going to have sex anyway, so we might as well teach them how to do it safely" can send them a disempowering message that they don't have the ability for self-control or delayed gratification.

Following the vulgarity and anti-establishment graffiti atop of Blk 85A Lorong 4 Toa Payoh, 5 17 year old teenagers were arrested and charged in court for vandalism last Friday. They were remanded for a week for further investigations and are believed to involved in another case.
