13 year old Glenda Zhang of Zhong Hua Secondary School has been found 5 days after she was reported missing. Glenda had skipped class together with a male classmate. It is the 2nd week of school. As usual, when my classmates meet in class for the first day of school, they begin to talk about their holidays. Some went to London, some to Australia, and some to Kuala Lumpur. I cannot help but to feel envious. Why? We don't have a lot. We are not too poor too. I mean when I watch tv, there are people who are worse off then me. I know my friends don't mean it, but every time they say things like, "oh everyone fly overseas for the holidays" or "everyone has an iPad..." I feel very affected. At the same time, I am curious about the part where the ang moh and Mr Elfy alighted at the Ang Mo Kio Station (ironic?) and approached some Special Operations Command police officers. Why didn't the police arrest the ang moh man for threatening the safety of other passengers? And why did they refuse to look at the video footage that Mr Elfy and his girlfriend recorded? Obviously the ang moh man was a threat, so why didn't they put him aside for a while? Instead, they let the still angry ang moh board the same train as Mr Elfy and his girlfriend? What if the ang moh man tried to beat up Mr Elfy and his girlfriend? Did the police even think of that before they decided to let him go free?

Law Minister K Shanmugam wrote in a Facebook post yesterday to denounce the "bullying actions" of a Caucasian man who berated a teenager on the same MRT for more than 2 minutes. Taking a surprisingly tough stance against the foreigner, Shanmugam said he hopes action will be taken against the man who was captured in the video, which was posted on A.S.S. and quickly went viral on social media.

Last Friday, Facebook user Nabilah alerted A.S.S. to an old Caucasian man who verbally abused a teenager and tried to beat him up, but was thankfully stopped by a Malay man, Elfie, who managed to chase the raging Caucasian man off the train, where Special Operations Command (SOC) policemen were stationed and waiting for him.
