PRICE FIXING ONLY BENEFITS TAXI COMPANY, NOT DRIVERS OR PASSENGERS

Price fixing benefits only taxi companies, not the drivers. Drivers should form their own unions instead of relying in the NTUC government tripod to fight for their right to better salaries rather than trample on commuters right to cheaper fares. Any bright person should realize that bulk of the profit goes to taxi companies. Instead of raising the fare price, why not protest to have a higher cut of the fare? The ulterior motive of the writer is suspect. Is the writer a shareholder of the taxi company masquerading as a taxi driver?

UBER CUSTOMER CHARGED $25 FOR $9 RIDE AFTER DRIVER DISPUTES FARE

Uber is a hypocrite, booked uberX from Choa Chu Kang MRT to Choa Chu Kang Cemetery last Saturday, before booking it was indicated that the fare will be $9.20, fixed rate. An expected 10 minute journey became 50 minutes because of the jam, so after alighting from the car, uber sent me an email saying that I am charged $9.20 for the ride.

DRUNK MAN PULL HIS PANTS DOWN & REFUSE TO PAY TAXI FARE

This Indian drunk man refused to pay after I fetch him. He alight from my cab, spit on my rear seat, kick my rear door and damaged my rear aircon. After I call my big boss, 2 police officer arrive. They were one Indian and Malay officer, they came after 14 minutes. The officers took about 10 minutes to wake him up, got the drunk out of my car and help him walk to the MRT. The drunk man then proceeded to pull down his pants and both officers struggled to help pull up his pants.
