OLD WOMAN MORE CONCERNED ABOUT PAYING CAB FARE EVEN AS SHE HAD STROKE

As I drove off she said she couldn't lift her arms when she woke up in the morning. I saw from the rear mirror she had tears in her eyes. I suspected she had a mild stroke. She instructed me to visit the ATM for her to draw money to pay for the taxi fare.

I asked her if she had any children, she said she had one son who went to work. I got angry and started to lecture her. I said "your son should take you to the hospital in an ambulance. What happens if you fell sick in my taxi? I cannot save you". I drove as fast as i could to reach TTSH but she was rather concerned about paying for the taxi fare, instead of her own well-being.

UBER VS GRAB VS TAXI, ONLY THE DRIVERS ARE THE LOSERS

No environment or situation is perfect. Giants can fight. But life still goes on. To maximise my chances of earnings and survival, I go where the wind blows. Now Grab give, money take. Give low fares ask them to go f themselves. No need to talk about pity here, pity there. In the end, we chose this trade slog to feed our families. I don’t need someone who is not even driving to tell me about the past, present or future. Especially one who has not “seen the world” yet or as they say wet behind the ears.

I once picked an Indian national. Those that speak a mixture of English with strong Indian accent and they think they are damn smart. His fare was $9.95. Upon arriving to his destination. He gave me a $10 and I told him that I do not have 5 cents change.

In a rude voice he said "What kind of taxi driver are you. 5 cents also don't have?" Then I gave him 10 cents instead and he proceed to alight and I shouted to him in a rude manner too. "Uuui... give me back 5 cents.." and he said he don't have... my reply was.. "What kind of Indian are you...keep that 5 cents and @#$% back off to India!"

TAXI DRIVER: GRAB AND UBER DRIVERS NEED TO ELIMINATE BAD HABITS

If you are near the junction and you realise you need to turn or a new booking came in. Don't stop in the go-straight only lane, drive forward and make a u-turn. Usually the lane that can turn are go straight or turn, you are risking your insurance excess by turning at the go-straight only lane. If you insist on stopping at the go-straight only lane, you are extremely selfish
