POOR ATTITUDE SHOWN, ALL I WANTED WAS SINGPASS TOKEN

Due some ‘idiot’ who has spoilt the market hack into the system and sold our SingPass to other countries. We were actually very safe and it has been for many years, no need to change our passwords. The staff at the counter number 6, initially did not want to give me the token, saying I already did my 2FA, so there is no need for me at all. Then, not only the staff, another staff beside also join too saying
you must have a good reason to have the token.

IS MODESTY OF FEMALE TEACHERS LESS IMPT THAN STUDENTS' FUTURE?

A student who allegedly molested a girl in a lift must be approached by the police during school hours and taken to the police station for interrogation.

But it's right for a student who definitely (it would seem) took upskirt videos of female teacher to not be reported to the police immediately because boys will be boys (a rhetoric that violently defines masculinity at the expense of boys who are actually different) and the victims should not even have a say over how they want the matter handled.

LAZY & SELFISH PRC SCHOLAR TRIES TO GAME OUR EDUCATION SYSTEM

This student constantly dozes off or plays his phone in lectures and tutorials, and for several hours straight. He has been blacklisted from CCA, brought into remedial lessons, and barely made it past J1. Spoke to him a bit and asked around his social circle along with mutual friends. Seems that he is in essence, trying to game the system. He's on a govt scholarship, but when asked further, has told us he doesn't really care about the A Levels. Rather, his intent is to take the SAT and have the A Levels as a excuse to be funded for his stay here, hence the almost zero effort in school. When asked about why he refuses to mingle around with others, he replied that he thinks Chinese is a superior language and hence doesn't bother improving his English to better interact with us. Now, part of me and my classmates has already given up and can't care less about him. The thing is, would it be the correct thing to inform the teachers of his attitudes and intentions "studying" here?

STUDENT: EDUCATION SYSTEM IN S'PORE IS TOO COMPETITIVE AND STRESSFUL

As a Singaporean student, we spend at least 6-7 of hours in school per day. And then we start to add up co-curricular activities, one could easily be spending 11-12 hours in school, twice or thrice a week. The rest of the days in a week where we get to be released in the afternoon (say 2 or 3pm), it will (quite often) be taken up by supplementary classes, meetings or consultations with teachers. I start to find myself lacking time to even relax or take a breather. Singapore's education may be one of the best, but at the midst of it, i've felt so much stress, competition and suppression, to the extent that life kind of lost it's meaning for me.

S'PORE MRT SYSTEM IS A FAT UNHEALTHY COW THAT HAS EATEN TOO MUCH

Let's get something straight: There is nothing wrong with the trains. There is nothing wrong with the tracks. There is nothing wrong with the WHOLE MRT system. Khaw Boon Wan and the SMRT can wayang about working on the problem but THERE IS NO SOLUTION. This is the same for the MRT system. It is bloated and obese like a fat cow. All the infrastructure in Singapore is groaning under the weight of an extra 4 million people.

ALFIAN SAAT: THE VICIOUS LYNCH MOB IS SORE AT AMOS YEE'S UNSHACKLED FREEDOM

Amos Yee did not apologise, has never apologised, for the video that he made. Nobody in Singapore should have the kind of freedom that Amos Yee so brazenly flaunted, just because he is not shackled to institutional wardens. It is an audacious taunt, an affront to all those who lead defeated lives of quiet compromise. It makes them sore, and it makes them vicious.
