Despite the dirty smearing of the PAP on WP candidate Raeesah Khan, the WP leadership Pritam Singh and Sylvia Lim stood by their candidate and came out looking even more good than the PAP. If the PAP thought they could destroy the WP Sengkang team with this, they can't be even more wrong.

The Worker's Party has confirmed its five-member Aljunied GRC team contesting this election: Pritam Singh, Sylvia Lim, Muhamad Faisal Manap, Leon Perera and Gerald Giam. This follows the announcement that Chen Show Mao, Png Eng Huat and former party chief Low Thia Kiang are not contesting in this election.

A netizen disagreed with Min Shanmugam for saying that every minister's speech be taken as statutory legislation. He argued that if this is true, it defeats the purpose of The Hansard (an official record of speeches) and having Parliamentary sittings in the first place. What do you think?

Workers' Party's Sylvia Lim, who finally got to speak on the EP, argued that the Government misled people into thinking that the decision to start counting from Wee Kim Wee was a result of the AGC's advice, when it was not.

Sylvia Lim of the Workers' Party has re-filed a notice to speak on an adjournment motion on the topic "Counting from President Wee Kim Wee or President Ong Teng Cheong for Reserved Presidential Election - Policy Decision or Legal Question?"

Workers' Party and Aljunied GRC Members of Parliament Low Thia Khiang, Sylvia Lim and Pritam Singh among others will now have to fend off a 2nd lawsuit after Pasir Ris-Punggol Town Council announced that it too would begin legal proceedings against the WP town councillors to recover allegedly mismanaged funds.
