A SMRT Station Manager has been suspended after allowing a train to continue moving with its doors opened.

The SBS driver who bulldozed 4 motorcyclists had reportedly stepped on the wrong pedal while waiting for the lights to turn green. According to news reports, he panicked and tried to swerve right in order to avoid hitting the motorcyclists although it was too late. The driver has been suspended as investigations are ongoing.
