CPF ACTIVIST HAN HUI HUI MOCKED BY POLICE OFFICERS WHO ESCORTED HER TO PRISON

The prison van is separated into three parts. The front for the driver and another police, the middle for me alone while the back was for another police officer. They spun around the basement before exiting from the gate between The Adelphi and the high court. After exiting, they went past Hong Lim Park and said “because of this park you’re now going to prison, is it worth it?” Another officer added “because of Singaporeans? Hahaha, you’re now going to prison to see who really run this country.”

Bill seeks to give police extra powers in Little India area

Those who knock back beers in public outside the permitted hours or whose behaviour could cause a riot may be banned from Little India for up to 30 days. Police and auxiliary police officers will have the authority to ask those in the area or who are about to enter it to state their names and addresses and why they are there, to empty their bags and pockets and to strip search them. They may use force to remove someone from the zone.
