I am writing this article to warn cheapskate passengers not to treat us taxi drivers like puppets ok? First, nowadays, I find that many passengers like to "share" their can rides, often 4 to a cab, and some people are 4 big size ones too.

BE CAREFUL OF THIS CAROUSELL BUYER!!! starting I thought he was damn stingy with his MRT fare, fair enough, it was funny but I think nvm la, I reimburse you $10 take it as discount lor. But nope! He actually still remained inside, and sent a stranger to come tell me to go to him while he was asked by the buyer to tend my car. Joke or what? So obvious he wanna take and run

I was an intern with this ang moh firm. We always have this impression that the ang moh culture is open but my internship has proved that this is not true of all ang moh firms. Example 1 One morning, one of the permanent staff stepped into office and announced that she had bought some chocolates from her holiday and she will leave them in the shared fridge for everyone to try. She gestured that we interns should try it too so my classmate and I took a piece of chocolate each. By 4pm, we could hear some ruckus coming from the pantry area. We went to take a look. Turns out the lady was asking how come the chocolates are finishing already. Another of the permanent staff, the sort that you would always see hanging around the pantry area and forever munching something sort of person, glared accusingly at my classmate and I. She said, "Must be those interns lah... Dunno how to automatic."

This email is with regard to the news that MOE wishes to start charging teachers for parking. While the public remains divided about this issue, and many are quick to point out that teachers had a pay rise last year, none of the forums point out the following realities for teachers in MOE schools: 1) When there are a recession about 6 to 7 years ago, salary increments were frozen for MOE's teachers. Teachers did not get any wage increments that year. 2) In many schools, it is not uncommon for teachers to often fork out their own cash several times a year to pay for things for their students.

My brother and sister-in-law treats my mum like their maid. They would normally have lunch at nice restaurants before dropping their son at my mum's place. They dont even ta pao for my mum. The wife doesn't have any laundry to do at home except under garments & sleep wear. All her clothes are branded and sent to dry clean. She doesn't do housework. My mum & my bro do the housework. My mum still have to cook for them & sleep with her grand son. Whereas they enjoy peaceful night without the child crying & making noise especially when the child is sick.

I went for lunch at Katong I12. After parking my car, I saw a notice stating that customers can get 1-hour free parking from 12 noon to3pm if they spend at least $20 at selected restaurants. The concierge told me the conditions for the free 1 hour parking. Why is Katong Mall so petty and have so many conditions for lunch time free parking?

I saw this CPF statement from 1975. I was shocked! The CPF interest rate in 1975 was 6.5%!! Compare to now it is only 2.5% or at most 3.5% or 4%! Now government so rich and earn so much money but always give excuse say cannot increase interest rate for Singaporeans. But last time government poor, they more generous and willing to give more CPF interest rate to us.
