POPULAR HWZ FORUM MODERATOR FORCED TO STEP DOWN AFTER INSULTING PAP MINISTER AS SCUM

Kiwi8, a popular moderator at Hardwarezone forum was forced to step down after a rabid PAP supporter complained that he had referred to Minister Shanmugam as scum in the past. The moderator bid a tearful goodbye to edmwers as he accepted the punishment. Some have wondered if this is part of greater censorship against netizens who do not have politically correct views.

UNPERFORMING MPS & MINISTERS WERE PROBABLY "REPLACED" & NOT RETIRED

Suddenly, nearing election time, many wants to retire. 4-5 months ago, no one talk about retirement. I think the people are smart enough to know that most of these MPs and ministers are probably being replaced and not retiring out of their own volition. What is there to be ashamed of if one is being replaced and no longer required by the party? After all, this is politics. People are being replaced all the time. You cant perform, you go.

He was very patient with me and taught me a lot, despite his busy schedule. Mr. Lui is kind, humorous and does not not have a single bad bone in him. He also possesses a first-class mind.

EX-MND MINISTER MAH BOW TAN STEPPING DOWN FROM POLITICS

Former Minister for National Development Mah Bow Tan confirmed that he will be stepping down and will not be running in the coming general election. As housing shortages became a major bugbear for the ruling party during GE2011, Mah was stripped of his Ministerial position and replaced by current MND Minister Khaw Boon Wan.

Taxi driver launches online petition calling for PM Lee's resignation

A petition calling on PM Lee to resign his office has been launched by a Singaporean cabby, William Lim. William, who launched the petition yesterday (4 May), hopes to collect 100,000 signatures to show public displeasure about a statement made by PM Lee at a community event in Ang Mo Kio on Saturday (3 May) During the event, where Indians from various ethnic groups came together to celebrate Indian New Year, PM Lee said Singapore belongs to everyone including foreigners. He encouraged Singaporeans to celebrate the festivals of Singaporeans from other ethnic groups, AND the festivals of foreigners.
