FAMOUS BAK KUT TEH RESTAURANT CLOSES SHOP FOR FINAL TIME TODAY

The younger brother told reporters that they were unable to retain staff for the past one to two years, and that most local workers wanted to quit after two days. Extended family members, who used to help, are now too busy with their own lives to continue helping, and currently only the younger brother, his wife and one employee are manning the restaurant. But the employee also quit in March this year, due to her husband's ill health, thus the shortage of manpower issue became severe.

KUDOS TO STAFF AT BISHAN MRT STATION FOR HANDLING TRAIN FAULT INCIDENT WELL

This evening (13 June) at about 6.30 pm, Jeff was at Bishan MRT station when an announcement was made to inform commuters of a delay caused by a train fault. Following the announcement, he saw that the station staff got to work immediately. They prevented people from entering the already crowded train platform and helped to direct commuters who were queuing for trains, Their promptness was efficient and impressive. Jeff said, "During a train fault people often blame the SMRT. Not many people praise the good job of the staff and patrolling crews when they put in effort to control such a large crowd, especially during peak hours when many are rushing back home."

BEWARE OF VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE AT NORTHPOINT CHALLENGER

Very bad service at challenger. "Product/Service" was written on their facebook, but they only offer VERY BAD SERVICE at 12.20pm 26th Feb 2016, 3rd floor Northpoint challenger. The younger lady store attendant blatantly lied that they do not have a USB cable that I need, yet after 5mins of searching I found it. I approached the male staff with a smile and said "Hi", before I could complete my sentence he rudely cut me off with a "IM NOT FREE, IM NOT FREE HOR, IM VERY BUSY NOW HOR!" while showing me his palm in my face. However he was not busy anymore just 2mins later because he can show another customer to the cashier and joke with him. I'm appalled that Challenger allow such customer service, lying, rude behaviors and showing different attitude to customers depending on their choice.

SMRT GROUND STAFF ARE DOING THEIR BEST, DO NOT ABUSE THEM

We were having family dinner when my dad received notification that he is activated. Without further ado, he put down his dinner and report within 30 minutes to the assigned station. He did not grumble about how he had to work again. So, before we throw our frustrations and ill mannerism to any of the ground staff, please remember that they are just doing their best to get lives moving. They apologized on behalf of SMRT, not themselves. And most importantly, they have families waiting for them back home

BEWARE OF M’SIAN OFFICERS SCAMMING YOUR TOUCH ‘N GO TOP UP CARD

All Touch ‘n Go card users, beware! To all Touch ‘n Go card users, please beware when you top up your Touch ‘n Go cards at exit counters at highway tolls. Clearly, the counter staff had the intention to cheat me and apparently had successfully cheated me of RM10. He told me the balance was RM19.70 and he only topped up RM20 to my card. Telling me RM10 less than the actual amount in the card is to cover up his wrong doing. After topping up of RM20, my actual card balance is RM49.70 (19.70 + 30 = 29.70 + 20) and I naturally I would not have discovered that if I hadn’t asked for a receipt.
