PRC S’PORE PR TELLS S’PORE TO FU*K OFF, DISPARAGES LOCALS AS POOR

In the leaked Wechat conversations provided by whistle blower Mike Norman, this supposed Singapore Permanent Resident (SPR) Christina said that if she wanted to have a baby, she would return to Shanghai to give birth to get the PRC passport. She followed up by saying "fuck your mother Singapore". Christina went on to disparage Singaporeans saying that most locals are poorer as compared to the Chinese in Shanghai and that locals were of poor quality just like those in second tier Chinese cities.

WHY IS SINGAPORE PR GIVEN OUT LIKE FREE TISSUE PAPER?

Since PMs Lee and Goh increased the number of PRs from 112,100 in 1990 to 541,000 in 2010, their numbers have been on a decline. Some serious issues need to be addressed. Singaporeans who voted for such a flawed immigration policy should bear in mind that they have screwed up not only themselves but their children’s future. Isn’t our Singapore PR a piece of tissue paper?

WHEN SPRs HAVE SUCKED SINGAPORE DRY, THEY ABANDON SHIP FOR GREENER PASTURES

Let me contribute a perspective about what happens *after* these Singaporean PRs are done, and decide to move on. Some also said that they never intended to settle in Singapore, that for them it was merely a stepping stone (and a chance to polish up their business English) before moving on to a “Western” English-speaking country. Again, no surprise there.

INDONESIAN-SPR RISK LOSING INDON CITIZENSHIP FOR SERVING S’PORE NATIONAL SERVICE

Under Indonesian law, it is an offence for citizens to serve a foreign military, and those who do so risk being stripped of their citizenship. But the law will take into account those Indonesians who study in countries that adopt mandatory national service. Indonesia has in the past asked Singapore to exempt its citizens who are PRs from performing national service. But in Singapore, male PRs are liable to be called up for national service.

With mounting queries from members of the public, the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) is said to be looking into the permanent residency (PR) of PRC Yang Yin, as reported in the media today (11 Sep). Many Singaporeans are asking how Mr Yang, a former tour guide from China, was able to obtain PR from ICA. It is unclear when Mr Yang became a PR, but it is believed to be after 2011. ICA declined to give details of his PR to media, citing confidentiality. But an ICA spokesman said, “The ICA is aware of media reports on the case and is looking into the matter.”
