"It is with deep sadness that two SMRT staff, Nasrulhudin Bin Najumudin and Muhammad Asyraf Bin Ahmad Buhari, passed away today. At around 11am on 22 March, a signalling condition monitoring device near Pasir Ris Station was triggered, and maintenance teams from the Permanent Way and Signal departments were sent to investigate. The teams moved in a single file along the walkway beside the track to the investigation location. Unfortunately, during the process, the accident occurred. The safety of our people has always been the utmost priority and we are assisting the Police in their investigations into how the accident happened.

This morning at about 10.15, I took a SMRT bus 859B (Licence plate no SMB 3149 X)at the bus stop opposite Blk 491 Admiralty Link. The driver, a Malay man in his twenties ( I couldn’t get his name)seemed reluctant to continue and kept looking towards the back of the bus. After about a minute of waiting, he walks towards the back and tells a female passenger who is standing to have a seat. The passenger is carrying a toddler. Despite her declining, he politely tries to persuade her to sit down, telling her that it may be uncomfortable and dangerous to stand. This prompts another passenger to persuade others to give up their seats. Someone gives up his seat and the passenger sits down.

I was boarding a transcab this morning around 7.40 am from the east to work to go airport . Upon telling my destination the cab driver told me off cab only go arrival and departure halls as I want to go T1 new car park due to my Brother on walking stick. He was so rude until I asked him if he still want to take me then he kept quiet. The whole journey was so throat cutting as he purposely moved from lane to lane and it was so dangerous putting 3 lives in danger. He then shouted where to go. I think our cab service industry is not at par.
