Punggol Secondary School has confirmed that the video that has been circulating online was filmed on its campus. In the video, a teenage boy was punished and shouts could be heard. The school has clarified that this took place during a scouts camp. The person shouting in the video was neither a teacher nor an instructor, but a former student who was helping out at the camp. While the former student had reprimanded the teenage boy with good intentions, the school has since spoken to the alumnus on his inappropriate methods.

NEIGHBOUR FROM HELL SABOTAGE MY CAR AFTER I COMPLAIN ABOUT HIS BURNING HABIT

This idiotic neighbor of mine threw eggs at my family car and thought that his actions was not captured by the in-built camera. Disagreement between neighbors happened ever since last Sept 2015, when he keep burning plastic and charcoal near the kitchen window which produced huge smoke that affected the surrounding neighbors. Having to take in the unhealthy air and not able to hang out our laundry. Thus, my family started calling the police for assistance whenever he start "smoking" us.

WHY PROVIDE ASHTRAYS ON BINS IF SMOKING IF NOT ALLOWED IN CARPARK STAIRWELL?

I was so caught smoking in hdb carpark and the ironic part is, all these while this hdb carpark on all levels are provided a bin with an ash tray. So many people has stand near to these bin and smoke and we will not litter the cigarette butt on the floor. We stick to that thought. So when I was caught, I ask them to give me a benefit of doubt since there are bins everywhere with the ash tray provided.

SMRT: 1 MAN CAUGHT SMOKING ON MRT IDENTIFIED, ISSUED NOTICE OF OFFENCE

1 of the men who were caught smoking in an MRT cabin has been identified and issued a Notification of Offence, SMRT said yesterday in a statement, A viral video of 2 men smoking in a train passing Bukit Batok at night was uploaded on social media last month, which sparked outrage among netizens, who criticized the duo for blatantly floating anti-smoking laws on the MRT. In the video, 2 men are seen passing around a lit cigarette while a 3rd man films the act. One of them was heard telling the others he would upload the video on Facebook.

SMRT MAKES POLICE REPORT AFTER VIDEO OF 2 MEN SMOKING IN MRT GOES VIRAL

SMRT told the media today that it has lodged a police report against 2 men who were filmed smoking in one of its train cabins. The MRT train was believed to be travelling in the Bukit Batok area at an unknown date and time at night. The video of the 2 men showed the 2 passing a cigarette between themselves, taking turns to smoke on it while their friend filmed the act and posted the video on Facebook.

ANG MOH FT CHAIN SMOKING DESPITE BEING SEATED IN NO-SMOKING AREA

Today at around 7 pm, I spotted this Ang Moh FT smoking at Newton Hawker Centre. Despite having a "NO SMOKING" sign pasted on his table, he persisted in lighting up. Worse still, he did not stop after his first smoke. He continued to smoke a second and a third causing discomfort to non-smokers around him.

GRACE FU: GOVT INTENDS TO BAN SMOKING IN SINGAPORE EVENTUALLY

Smoking could be banned in more locations in the near future if a consultation held on Saturday (Apr 18) between the Government and some stakeholders is any indication. Second Minister for the Environment and Water Resources Grace Fu said the Government is mulling over its "next steps" even as it eventually moves toward a smoke-free Singapore. However, she said policies must be balanced between smoking's impact on non-smokers and accommodating the needs of smokers.
