It is a well held believe of many Singaporeans that the Government does not trust its own citizens in interpreting data. Heck, the Government does not even trust Singaporeans to know what is fake news and what is not. Trust works both ways, but apparently, not for these 4G Leaders.

Singaporeans are always told the influx of foreign talent is good for us, for it will create wealth for us further down the road. Foreign influx rendering many Singaporeans unemployed and underemployed is not something based on fact, we are told. "Please do not politicize this issue" is the refrain we get from our Millionaire Ministers.

This however, drew a sharp rebuke from Trade and Industry Minister Chan Chun Sing, who proceeded to give a speech that lasted for half an hour, outlining the government's strategies for growing Singapore’s economy and creating jobs. While the speech was possibly already prepared in advance, he still failed to answer Pritam's questions. So, are the Whites hiding something from Singaporeans, something that would not look too good on them?

When we do receive the GST vouchers, it does make sense to make sense of why we need the GST vouchers in the first place. It is because the GST is about to be raised again, that's why Singaporeans need help with GST. While we will be happy with any chicken wings the government gives our way, we should remind ourselves how much more the GST hike is going to be soon.

Singaporeans have already seen POFMA used on a few occasions these past few weeks, as the Government goes all out to show they mean business, and to present any dissenting, anti-government voices early Christmas presents. of course, all the POFMA thrown to these online voices are all commentaries that goes against the government.

But if this was a less a conclusion than an affirmation that the PAP MPs care more in their ultimate drive to fix the opposition and ensure they get their cushy Parliamentary seats in the next elections, rather than s desire to improve the lives and welfare of Singaporeans. After all, for this motion, almost all PAP MPs were present, but when debates were done on other pertinent issues, Parliament would often see a majority of empty seats.

How do the government come to this conclusion? Is it because they themselves cannot be trusted with their millions in salary? Or is this rule unjustly penalising the average Singaporeans, while the very rich and elite do not need the CPF, because, after all, they are rich, and they have money to burn in their old age.

Did MOM cross check with the universities and ex employers about these CECA beneficiaries? Or are they allowed to gobble up all the better jobs and higher pay at the expense of other well qualified Singaporeans? Has Heng Swee Keat and the PAP erred in their judgement in signing the CECA?

But what has riled Singaporeans is the fact that this person, like many before him, and many more after him, seem to get all the cushy and high paying job, and see no wrong to look down of Singaporeans who have university qualifications in Singapore's world class universities, but can only dream of getting such high paying jobs in their own country.
