FAKE HOUSING AGENT COLLECTED FEES FROM CLIENTS THEN RAN AWAY

A 30 year-old man had posed as a housing agent and collected fees from unsuspecting clients before he was caught by the Singapore Police Force. According to a police news release, the man had posed as a fake agent between May 2017 and July 2017 and scammed several victims who had placed advertisements online for rental of their units.

VEGETABLE STALL OWNER REFUSE TO PAY UP, THREATEN DEBT COLLECTORS WITH CHOPPER

A woman who works at a vegetable stall at Jurong West market threatened her debt collectors with a 10cm-long chopper. The 4 debt collectors had approached her to claim her $20,000 debt when she brandished a knife at them and dared them to stab her. When asked by police, she said she was using the knife in self defence as she was "bullied" by the debt collectors who even threatened to kill her husband. Not sure if the debt collectors were being "nice", but they actually went to her stall with a sign that read "debt collection in progress, do not panic". Who bully who, like that? PUB WORKER ATTACKS MAN WITH WINE OPENER AFTER HE CHAT UP BOSS’ GIRLFRIEND

A pub worker was jailed and caned for attacking a customer with a wine opener around Peace Centre. Jerriek Chen Weixiong was angry at the male customer for trying to chat up his manager's girlfriend and followed him as he was leaving the pub. Armed with a wine opener, he punched the guy repeatedly with the sharp end of the opener in between his fingers, deliberately causing the man to get scratched and to bleed a lot. Two other pub workers followed his example and attacked the victim. They were all arrested after the police arrived at the scene. The victim, Mr Tay, suffered injuries to his face and was taken to Tan Tock Seng Hospital where he got multiple stitches. Loyal or stupid?
