With effect from 1 March 2016, all Police Officers from the Singapore Police Force (SPF) will be issued with a new warrant card. The new warrant cards will replace the existing warrant cards held by all regular, volunteer, Full time National Service Police Officers (PNSFs), Operationally Ready Police National Servicemen (PNSmen) as well as the Auxiliary Police Officers (APOs). Apart from its new design, the new warrant card has enhanced security features to prevent identity fraud by impersonation as Police Officers. When the card is tilted at an angle, the holographic word “POLICE” will appear below the Officer’s photograph. On the right of the card, you will also see a vertical row of 5 holographic police crests. In October last year, a 4-year-old boy fell to his death from an open window that had no grilles. Back then, Mr K Shanmugam spoke up very promptly, writing on his Facebook. Mr Shanmugam was angry – and justifiably so. Still, his aggressive tone was surprising. After all, he didn't possess, at least at the time he wrote his post, all the facts pertaining to the episode.

I had earlier wanted to wait for the authorities to report its findings on the Benjamin Lim case first. It has been brought to light recently that there are alot of negative posts circulated on the web with regards to SPF. To me, this is something that’s uncommon. But to see the unnecessary hate being directed to the force makes me nothing short of angry. Let me tell you why. There they were, these selfless men and women, putting their lives before others, sympathising and trying their level best to find solutions to YOUR problems, missing out on anniversaries, birthdays and sometimes, even death of their loved ones.

Full-time police national serviceman Muhammad Shazwan Sapuwan, 21, had a special knack for stalking couples behaving intimately at HDB staircases. He would chance upon the couples regularly as part of his voyeuristic hobby, record their intimacy on video and then use his status as a police officer to extort money from his victims.

She has scammed countless landlords & foreign students in rent money. She, together with her mother Inawaty Tan (G0016468U), ran an illegal boarding house for foreign students and conned me of $14,800 in rent & over $10,000 in Property Damages & Legal fees.

Dear SBS Transit , I'm very disappointed & offended by your transport inspector. I boarded SBS bus service 14 (Bus no. 7346H) at around 2.30pm. I'm still a student hence I'm still using the student card I have on hand. Upon boarding there's insufficient fund on my card so I paid 85cents for my trip to school.

A DARK GREY COLOUR BMW hit on a crossing pedestrian which make him fly 360 degree and land flat on the road unconscious for at least 15mins left him with a broken forehead and injures on his arms and legs!
