When my son hand over the phone, the officer insisted he unlock the phone, as my son was scared he did as he was told..... Afterwhich the officer told him that they would need to bring the phone back to the station.

People from other countries looks up to people from our police force. But *some* of us totally disrespect them. I think the kind of respect and support that comes from from others should come from us as well. So proud of those officers i saw today at Yishun mrt, going personally to girls and ladies awaring them about the increase rate of molest case at Yishun mrt and to be more safe. To even reach their thoughts and get their attention they have issued nice looking keychains. Despite the hot sun when all of us take shade they stand there watching out for us to be safe.

About the recent case about the boy who was questioned by police and later jumped down, I have a suggestion. I recently read mrbrown's comment saying that we should teach our children to keep quiet when questioned by the police until parents or lawyers arrive. I think that may be the only way citizens like us can deal with the police who think they can get easy confessions out of us minors.
