A contributor shared that his 13-year-old son was attacked by a 6-year-old boy while walking along the void deck of Blk 25 Hougang Ave 3. The 6-year-old boy wanted the older boy to play together, but the older boy refused as he was on the way to fetch his siblings from school. The 6-year-old boy then took a stone and threw it towards the contributor's son. According to pictures provided by the contributor, his son suffered a gash on his left cheek which needed at least five stitches. The parents were unapologetic.

I refer to last Friday’s disastrous handling of an intoxicated man at the juncture of Collyer Quay that caused quite a stir on and offline which ignited a debate on police procedural tactics. It is a very curious case on why the 6 officers did not subdue the man much earlier and allowed the situation to escalate? Compare this with previous scenes of peaceful activists gathering for candlelight vigils and giving a non-violent address where hordes of officers would be dispatched to round and restrain them. According to screenshots sent to us, the Ubi landlord allegedly did not return the tenant's deposit after the 2-year lease was over. The tenant has been chasing for the $3000 deposit since August 2019, but the landlord has been making excuses that he "has no money to return" even though he has rented out four other office spaces.
