SPF: MAN ARRESTED FOR CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION AND UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF ARMS

The Police have arrested a 24-year-old man for criminal intimidation, and unlawful possession of arms in the vicinity of Hougang Ave 8. On 19 November 2016 at about 6.55am, a 24-year-old male victim lodged a police report informing that a man had used something resembling a pistol to intimidate him when they were engaged in a dispute at a car park in the vicinity of Hougang Ave 3. POLICE OFFICER HELPS LOST ELDERLY MAN HOME, DISCOVERS 8,000KG TRASH IN HIS FLAT

When Staff Sergeant (SSgt) Koh Seo Kuan attended to a case involving an elderly man who appeared to be lost on the street on 16 July, she did not expect that it would lead her to a startling discovery. Upon escorting him back to his flat, she discovered that the flat was filled with discarded items from cardboard scraps to plastic bottles. Cockroaches were scurrying around the unit. SSgt Koh knew that the family required immediate assistance.
