The Embassy of Israel in Singapore apologised for the deplorable behaviour of a junior diplomat who misused a Singapore flag as a table cloth during an outdoor party at The Levelz condominium along Farrer Road. The Embassy announced “It was appalled to learn of deplorable behaviour displayed by one of its junior staff members and expresses its sincere apologies...The Director General of Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has instructed that requisite strong disciplinary procedure will be adopted against the individual"

LIM SWEE SAY: SINGAPOREANS SHOULD FLY NATIONAL FLAG ON SUNDAY

50 grassroots leaders and residents from East Coast GRC are asking for all Singaporeans to fly the national flag at their homes this Sunday, 29th March, to pay their respects for the late Lee Kuan Yew. Minister in the Prime Minister's office Lim Swee Say, who is the MP for East Coast GRC and the advisor for the GRC's grassroots organization, says: "We want to tell Mr. Lee. Don't worry about us, rest in peace."
