SDP DEMANDS AGC TO INVESTIGATE ALLEGATIONS AGAINST PM LEE

Chee Soon Juan of the Singapore Democratic Party has called for the AGC to investigate allegations against LHL. "Even though LHL has addressed some of these matters in Parliament on 3 and 4 July 2017, his statements must necessarily be viewed as partisan as they were not subject to critical cross-examination. He has also refused to convene a Commission of Inquiry despite widespread calls from the public to do so." Dr Chee also asked for Lucien Wong and Hri Kumar to recuse themselves from dealing with this matter.

PAP SAYS COMMENT CALLING UNEMPLOYED CHEE WORTHLESS IS FAKE

The People's Action Party (PAP) issued an unsurprisingly response via TODAY, claiming that no PAP volunteer had said that Dr Chee or unemployed people were "worthless". This follows an online furor over a post made by Facebook user Ridhuan, who said that a PAP volunteer had made that remark to him after he told them that he would go to Dr Chee Soon Juan's rally.

CHIAM SEE TONG SHOULD NOT BE PETTY OVER SDP’S USE OF PHOTO

Singapore People's Party (SPP) chairwoman Mrs Lina Chiam recently posted on Facebook about her husband's photo being misused by the Singapore Democratic Party's (SDP) Chee Soon Juan. According to Mrs Chiam, the photo had been published in the SDP newsletter and had falsely conveyed the sense that SDP's Chee Soon Juan had received the endorsement of political veteran Chiam See Tong.
