MAN ON PROBATION SLASHES BOUNCER’S NECK WITH GLASS

22 year-old Mohamed Asrafd Peer Mohamed committed offences in 2012 and 2013 which caused him to be sentenced to 4 years worth of probation. That did not stop him from committing his latest offence: He used a glass fragment to slash bouncer 29 year-old Prakash Jagajeevan in the neck last year. Asrafd, who is jobless, was jailed 1 year 3 months and fined $3,000 yesterday.

Singaporean paedophile, Chan Chun Hong had admitted to 7 counts of distributing child pornography online, 3 counts of promoting commercial sex with a minor outside Singapore, 1 count of facilitating commercial sex with a minor outside Singapore, and 1 count for the possession of obscene films. Chan was jailed 4 years 8 months, and fined $8000 after pleading guilty to the 12 child pornography and child sex-related charges.

COUPLE FOUND LOST DOG BUT DEMAND MONEY FOR ITS RETURN

Today while walking past blk 932, we saw some notices and a picture of our lost dog at the lift lobby. My mum called them immediately and wanted to thank them and get our dog back. Kelvin is the one who answered the call. He say he is the one who found the dog and said he wan 300 dollars from my mother in appreciation for finding the dog for us. My mother without hesitation agreed and he immediately hanged up the phone. Few minutes later,another number named Josephine xinhui called my mother and demanded 700 from my mother and say they will not return the dog if we dun give her the money. SAF SERGEANT ADMITS TO CAUSING DEATH BY ORDERING NSF TO DRIVE WITH NO LICENSE

A 33 year-old former Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) master-sergeant, Lee Kong Kean, admitted in court on Wednesday to ordering a full-time National Serviceman (NSF) to drive a jeep without a valid driving license. On 11th May 2012, the 22 year-old NSF Cavin Tan met with an accident in the Marsiling training area, causing the death of one of his passengers and injuring two others, all of whom were NSFs. The four of them were taking part in a training exercise. Lee later asked instructors to lie to investigators that Tan had stolen the jeep he was driving so as to pin the blame entirely on the young man.
