Our reader noticed delays on the Circle Line just after Minister Khaw Boon Wan celebrated 250 days of having no problems. "Sometimes we ask how come MRT so many problem he nv speak up? But maybe it's good that he's quiet? Otherwise once he speak up then surely some line, whichever line he mention, will have problem". Shhh!

OK TO TEST MRT SIGNAL DURING SCHOOL HOLIDAY, DON’T MAKE A FUSS

I guess everyone have been warned that there will be more train disruptions coming up as they need to test signal during the peak hours too. The reason they are doing this in June is because there many typical Singaproeans that will overseas during this period and all commuter ought to understand this. A temporary inconvenience is essential for long term convenience it's better to disrupt or even close the entire system now than during school term days. Now, I understand that during disruption is extremely difficult to get a taxi and grab and uber will surge, please understand that everyone wants to get home quickly and needs a cab, so those that are not in the bad rush, like students, singles and army boys please take the bus so that they don't add on to the surge. So please, stop complaining about train disruptions and move on, be positive.

LTA & SMRT: WE DON’T KNOW EXACTLY WHAT CAUSED CIRCLE LINE BREAKDOWN

The Circle Line (CCL) experienced intermittent loss of signalling-related communications this morning that led to multiple delays of train services at various locations within the network. Preliminary investigations by LTA and SMRT indicate that the nature of the faults could be similar to that of the incidents that occurred on the CCL in September this year. Investigation into those incidents assessed that an interfering signal could have disrupted the communications. The source of the interfering signals could not be conclusively established as the incidents subsequently stopped.
