TEN STUDENTS DEAD AFTER GUNMAN SHOOTING RAMPAGE IN OREGON COLLEGE

Ten people were killed when a gunman opened fire at Oregon's Umpqua Community College on Thursday, forcing the nation to face yet another mass shooting. Seven other people were injured, and the shooter is dead, Douglas County Sheriff John Hanlin told reporters. Earlier estimates had put the number of people hurt much higher.

There are such thing as 'Rule Of Engagement'.. Even if he have 100Kg of drugs, death sentence or punishment only can be given by the judge.. Not by anybody else.. DECEASED WIFE: IS THE POLICE JUSTIFIED TO SHOOT DEAD MY HUSBAND BECAUSE HE RUN AWAY?

The alleged wife of the man shot dead in the Shangri-La dash through incident has spoken up. In a Facebook post to the Singapore Police Force FB page, the woman who goes by the moniker Fifi Divinez (Nassida Nasir) questioned if the police is justified to shoot dead her husband with a M-16 rifle just because he tried to escape. According to her, her husband tried to escape the road block because he was driving without a valid license.

DID THE POLICE USE EXCESSIVE FORCE IN SHANGRI-LA ROAD BLOCK SHOOTING?

By opening fire, they killed 1 person and detained another 2. If it was a road block, why did the police still have to use deadly force on the car occupants? Isn't there a standard procedure of chasing the car or boxing in the vehicle? Or at most, why don't the police shoot the tyres to immobilise the vehicle? Or shouldn't there be road spikes on the ready to stop any such vehicles?

YOUTH OLYMPIC GAMES: 14-YEAR OLD SINGAPOREAN MARTINA LINDSAY VELOSO WON SILVER IN AIR RIFLE EVENT

Singapore's Martina Lindsay Veloso has won the country's first medal at the Nanjing Youth Olympic Games. The 14-year-old Singapore Sports School student took the silver in the girls' 10m air rifle event at the Fangshan Shooting Hall on Tuesday morning. Her score of 207.2 was just behind Switzerland's Sarah Hornung's winning effort of 207.8. Germany's Julia Budde took the bronze with a score of 186.3.
