A resident with a young 2-year daughter has to park in a normal car lot in a condominium in Thomson Road, due to the persistent parking by the condominium chairman. The chairman is a single male , drives a 2 seater sports sedan, has knowingly parked his car at a lot which indicates clearly family & kids.

"Just now I was having ice kachang there. Then ate halfway the waitress asked me whether can I move to another table because got a bigger group coming and they wanna let them have my existing table so they can merge with another table beside..."

I am so angry with this driver who chose to park in a no parking area. He had parked at a spot that has ramp access which means it is for wheelchairs, prams etc. I told him nicely, "Uncle, you shouldn't park here, obstruction leh. What if people need to use the ramp?" It is not as if the carpark was full, there were so many empty lots around. In front of his 2 daughters who were of schooling age, his reply was, "Everybody do it in Singapore," then he locked his car and walked off.

An Appeal to Bukit Batok Voters. It is a foregone conclusion that the SDP will contest the Bukit Batok by-election to find a member of Pariament who is worthy of the highly esteemed Office. Residents of Bukit Batok must not be seen to be a self-centered and selfish lot who are only interested in their own well being. By this, we do not mean it is wrong for one to make decision which one thinks will serve one's interest best. What we are saying is that when one is put in a position to do something for the greater good, then it becomes a responsibility that one has to decide for the greater good.

This student constantly dozes off or plays his phone in lectures and tutorials, and for several hours straight. He has been blacklisted from CCA, brought into remedial lessons, and barely made it past J1. Spoke to him a bit and asked around his social circle along with mutual friends. Seems that he is in essence, trying to game the system. He's on a govt scholarship, but when asked further, has told us he doesn't really care about the A Levels. Rather, his intent is to take the SAT and have the A Levels as a excuse to be funded for his stay here, hence the almost zero effort in school. When asked about why he refuses to mingle around with others, he replied that he thinks Chinese is a superior language and hence doesn't bother improving his English to better interact with us. Now, part of me and my classmates has already given up and can't care less about him. The thing is, would it be the correct thing to inform the teachers of his attitudes and intentions "studying" here?

This guy went in the LRT with me and then rushed over to the seat and make himself comfortable and then stare at me when i am standing in front of him with my BABY "even i carrying my baby" he just ignore me nvm but keep staring at me like in the pic! super mad n furious and i was about to tell him off. another couple opposite immediately gave up their seats to me. This is ugly singaporean! Share around i wanna tell him please don't be a selfish Man give those who needed it more. Be gracious. By the way its a priority seat you sitting on.

I was queuing up in the Hans cafe at Holland today with colleagues. As the cafe was very crowded, and we saw this lady sitting alone at a table of 6, we asked her politely if she would mind sharing a table with us. She told us that the seats at her table were taken, so my colleague said it was ok and moved off. But I was very suspicious of her because she didn't look like she came along with anybody. She had been sitting at the table for a while and had already begun her food. So we waited, and then we realized that for the next few minutes no one came over to sit at her table and no one even spoke a word to her!
