FRESH GRADUATES NEED TO REFLECT ON THEIR SELF-ENTITLED MENTALITY OR LOSE OUT TO FOREIGNERS

Fresh graduates are pickier than before, and are willing to accept only jobs which pay more. Many do not take into account the quality of their resumes or their exam results. They do not think about working their way up. Why would employers pay more for Singaporeans who are less willing to work hard, as compared to foreigners who can be more capable and are willing to learn? Rather than question why there are no jobs available, fresh graduates should instead ask themselves why they should be hired. The mindset of Singaporeans must change in order for them to be more competitive in the job market.

BEFORE JUDGING, PLEASE OPEN YOUR MOUTH TO ASK POLITELY FOR A SEAT?

You said you want to tell him off. Have you tried ASKING for a seat? Has the thought ever occured to you, to ask nicely first, before you start to make noise? Lastly, you said that a couple gave up their seat to you. What you SHOULD have done was to be thankful for this couple. The matter is settled. You should be thankful, and this matter should have been settled there and then. But instead, you decide to play judge on the person who didn’t offer you his seat, and shame him on Allsingaporestuff.
