Reports indicated the deceased as Yeoh Yoke Khing, 37, who was heading into Singapore for work when the accident happened. His motorbike hit the rear tyre of a bus which was in the midst of doing a U-turn, and the victim died at the scene due to severe injuries caused by the collision.

A wrecked motorcycle was spotted in the middle of the Malaysia – Singapore Second Link today at around 8.30am in the direction of Singapore. Photos have been circulating online, showing the heavily damaged motorcycle which could be seen on the road, its front completely decimated.

The traffic situation is gradually resuming to normalcy and clearance of the fallen structure is ongoing. Motorists using the Second Link are urged to check for the latest traffic updates via LTA’s One Motoring website or MyTransport.SG portal before they embark on their journey. For safety reasons, arriving cars and motorcycles are diverted to other zones for clearance.
