NO STUDYING SIGN IN CAFES DO NOT STOP STUDENTS FROM STUDYING EVEN ON BUSY WEEKENDS

I am writing to complain about students hogging seats in cafes such as Starbucks and Coffee Bean. Last Sat afternoon, even tho it was a weekend, I had a lot of difficulties getting a seat coz many people were taking up whole tables by themselves with laptops and books. Tables for two were occupied by one pax & laptop. When I asked if I cld share a table most of them turned me down, saying that the seat was occupied. All I saw on the other chair were bags, books and laptop case. Feels like I walked into a library instead of a cafe!

RACIST MAN ONLY GIVE UP RESERVE MRT SEAT FOR CHINESE PREGNANT LADY BUT NOT INDIAN PREGNANT LADY

I boarded MRT at Yishun on 2 Jan 2016 about 730am. I am almost 6 months pregnant. This fat goon was seating on the reserved seat and did not offer his seat to me. I am not demanding that I should have the seat, as this is becoming so common but I feel sad that people are inconsiderate and unkind. I was already standing in front of him for about 20mins with my tummy obviously showing. This is not new, so I can’t expect much. But what shocked me was about 20mins later, a Chinese pregnant lady walked in and this guy immediately got up and gave her the seat! WITH?! Even kindness and consideration is race selective?!

ELDERLY MAN SLAPPED MY HEAD WHEN I DIDN’T OFFER NON-PRIORITY MRT SEAT TO HIM

I was on the train to work yesterday when something horrible happened to me. the man actually whacked my head really hard as he walked past me to sit on 2 seats away from me. Feeling appalled by the sudden pain, I glared at him with a shocked look. He then looked me in the eye fiercely and then mumbled 'sorry accidentally' in hokkien. I later figured out that he wanted to 'teach me a lesson' for not offering him the seat nearer to him.
