DID S'POREANS RALLY TOGETHER TO SUPPORT MINDEF BREAKING OF HONG KONG LAWS?

Now that our Terrex ICVs have been returned on 30 January, Defence Minister Ng is not letting up on propaganda and has claimed in a Facebook post: “I am proud of how Singaporeans rallied together during this episode. Thank you for your support and encouragement.” As if still living in the pre-internet age, Ng has chosen to ignore all the negative comments on social media. Who supported Mindef’s screw up? Are Singaporeans so stupid to anyhow assume it’s OK to break Hong Kong laws?

STOP & THINK: IS VOTING FOR THE OPPOSITION REALLY A GOOD IDEA?

Let's try to objectively understand the situation. 40% of people are unhappy with the current government due to certain policy that put them at a disadvantage. But let's also see what the opposition has done over the last 5 years. Objectively, both sides have faults, both sides have 'screwed up'. WP on the 'regional level', PAP on the 'national level'.

BLAME THE ORGANIZERS, NOT THE VOLUNTEERS FOR SEA GAMES FIASCO

Can we please stop bad mouthing the poor volunteers, national servicemen and students at the SEA Games today? They were also doing their best to cope in the big messy situation and it is not right for you to call them names and blame them. In fact, I think the volunteers in purple, national servicemen and students are not incompetent. Many of them are part timers or temp contract staff and have not been equipped with the right knowledge or even receive any training to deal with gigantic crowds like tonight.
