MAN SCAMS VICTIMS IN AMK AND BISHAN BY CLAIMING THAT HE LOST HIS WALLET

This man has been going around AMK and now Bishan to ask people for money. He said he has lost his wallet and needed money. And he looked genuine (good acting skills). So we gave him $4 out of sympathy. My hubs saw later that he had a bunch of $50 notes and confronted him. He tried to explain his way out that he needed the money to top up farecard. Then we told him that he said he lost his wallet earlier and had no money to go home! He later returned us our $4 and quickly walked off. We called the police thereafter to alert them of the scam.

UBER PRIVATE TAXI SCAMMER SJT1444Y CHARGED ME $97 FOR SHORT TAXI RIDE

Beware guys, do not aboard this "private taxi". In less than 30 mins of ride, i saw his meter shoot up to $50++. We were already on the highway. So i told him to alight us nearby where he can stop. Instead he stopped at some ulu destination around yio chu kang & told us to paid $97. Its less than 3 mins, the meter fare increase $40++. When i asked him why is the fare so expensive, he claimed that he did inform us that it $8/km. Who on earth will be so stupid, to allow someone to charge at $8/km.

So basically, I was tricked into helping this guy sign 2 lines from Singtel and starhub for some money(which he said was a token of his appreciation because he desperately needed the phone lines). He used one of the lines to purchase $500 worth of MOL credits and prepaid phone top-ups and Singtel blacklisted me and suspended the line, after finding this out, I quickly suspended the starhub line.

Beware of this person he's a car dealer. I believe quite a number got cheated by him in transaction of buying or selling car and it's my luck experienced the damn situation.
