RELIEF TEACHER SACKED FOR ONE HUGE MISTAKE, NO CHANCE FOR REDEMPTION

Young and inexperienced teacher not able to handle students who are not exactly angels, starts hurling back vulgarities after student used vulgarities on her, gets caught on video by another student. Said student uploads video for the whole world to see. Teacher vilified online by everyone, gets shamed and school came out and announced teacher was a relief, was inexperienced and now, no longer employed by the school.

Is there no other way to deal with this? The relief teacher made a huge mistake, and it was unfortunate that her mistake was caught on camera for everyone to see. So school cuts her off just like that, without giving the teacher a second chance at redemption. After all, didn't you just said the teacher was young and inexperienced? If she cannot learn from this, and given a chance to correct things, how can you expect the teacher to gain experience? She might even give up teaching altogether.

RELIEF TEACHER RELIEVED OF JOB AFTER HURLING VULGARITIES

News reports confirmed that the teacher who was caught on video hurling vulgarities at her student was actually a relief teacher.

Apparently, the secondary school in question had also confirmed that the relief teacher is no longer employed by the school after this incident. Makes you wonder what kind of relief teachers they have. No doubt, the person was just relieving the duty of the actual teacher, who was not around for some reason or another. And of course, the students were also at fault for making life difficult for the relief teacher. But the reaction of hurling vulgarities back at students is definitely wrong at all levels.

TATTOOED MAN GOT FIRED AFTER POLICE RANDOM CHECK MADE HIM LATE FOR WORK

I previously worked at raffles place and i got stop outside MRT station. Just to check my bag and pockets just because i have tattoo sleeves? Is it wrong to have tattoo in Singapore? Drag my time somemore, asking me i from which gang, why i tattoo, do i have drugs? Unlike the real police officers. Because of them i got fired for dragging my times more than 30mins late from work. Asking them to issue me some sort of letter to proof that i got check by police but they replied why must they give me a letter when i am a suspected person. Is this the right way they should do like dis? I got sacked, are they going to support my family?

ROY NGERNG WORKS 2 WEEKS AS A TOILET CLEANER

My back was aching from the cleaning, but the clinic was going to open in another hour and I couldn’t stop to rest. Otherwise, I would be cleaning while the patients were walking in and it would be inconvenient to them. Unknown to most people, after I lost my job in the middle of June, I took up a cleaning job for about 2 weeks. A friend of mine had asked me if I knew anyone who could do some cleaning work for the clinic that he works at, as his cleaning lady was going on leave. I volunteered as I had just got out of a job, and I thought that it would be a useful experience to learn from.
